Obituary for Lawrence Sokolowski
Lawrence J Sokolowski of Warrington passed away on Sunday May 14, 2017, at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. Lawrence was 67. He was the Beloved husband of Susan L Sokolowski who together shared 30 years of marriage.
Lawrence was an Electrical Engineer by Trade and had been employed with the Klearfold Co. as an Electrical/Maintenance Supervisor. He currently was employed with the Lenape Valley Foundation as a Transportation Driver.
Lawrence was a Volunteer Fireman for the Warrington Fire Company, and was active in Civil War Reenactment as a Civil War Surgeon. He played the drums in a band "the Valant 5" in his youth. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golf, country music, history, travel, fishing, and loved the beach and the ocean.
In addition to his wife Susan he is survived by his children Charles Jr., Larry Jr., Lorri, Jenni, and Valerie. He is also survived by his 10 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, Mother-in law Gladys, Sister-in law Kim, brother in law John and his nephew Stephen.
Lawrence will be remembered as an amazing father, grandfather/"jah-deck" and friend to all. He touched the hearts of all who knew him. He had a great sense of humor and an overwhelming caring heart. He will be deeply missed. We love you Larry!
