Obituary for George T. Vellios
George T. Vellios, a resident of Warminster for the past 46 years, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at his residence. He was 70.
George was the loving husband of Valerie Vellios.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, George was a son of the late John and Margaret Vellios.
George was the owner and operator of Lorenzo’s Pizza located in the Italian Market, South Philadelphia.
He enjoyed vacationing with his family at the Jersey Shore and golfing. George was also an enthusiastic fan of Penn State football, the Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers, Phillies and Sixers.
In addition to his wife, George is survived by a son Keith and his wife Carol, two daughters, Nicole Renaud and her husband Patrick and Tara Vellios and 9 grandchildren, Gabrielle, Juliana, Nicolette, Taylor, Alexis, Peyton, Ava, Drew and Anthony. George is also survived by a brother John and a sister Mary Ann. George was preceded in death by a brother Anthony.
George’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 605 W Street Rd, Warminster where the family will receive friends after 10:00 am until the time of mass. Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.
