Obituary for Paul U. Stebner

Paul U. Stebner
Paul Ulrich Stebner, a resident of Warrington for 46 years, died peacefully
early Monday morning, March 19, 2018 at Abington Hospice at Warminster. He suffered from complications of Lewy Bodies Dementia and was 73.

Born in Albrechts Dorf, Germany on February 8 ,1945, he was the son of Alice Bueschmann and
Gottfried Stebner. He graduated from Hatboro Horsham HS in 1964 and obtained an Associate degree from Temple University.

Paul worked in the IT/Technology field and held positions at Prime Computer and Motorola. He loved innovation and spent many happy hours tinkering in his basement workshop. In later years, Paul took his uncanny ability to “repair things” and his love of the outdoors to find employment with Spring Dance hot tubs in Jamison as a field service technician. If he wasn’t working on a repair, he was out working in the yard or observing and enjoying nature. An avid fan of football and professional tennis, he held season tickets/attended Central Bucks West Football games years after his children graduated. He also spent his Sunday afternoons/Monday nights cheering on the EAGLES! Most Fourth of Julys, you could find him focused on the happenings at Wimbledon with his children and grandchildren. Paul was a member of Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church and had served in many volunteer positions as well as co-mentor for the Sunday School Confirmation program. Paul and his wife enjoyed the theater and were long time subscribers to the Walnut St. Theater in Philadelphia. While Paul and his wife loved travel and the beach, during his vacations you could find him surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Paul was a loving father and doting grandfather and his most joyful moments were spent in the company of his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Margaret E. Stebner, daughters Erika N. Canterbury
and her husband Mark E. Canterbury of Buckingham, Kiersten R. Steczak and her husband Jared Steczak of Gilbertsville, and his three grandchildren; Grace, Caroline, and Gavin.
