Obituary for Marian Roski

Marian Roski
Marian M. Roski, formerly a resident of Wilkes Barre and Philadelphia PA, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Jamison, Pa. She was 92.
Marian was the loving wife of the late James B. Roski for 37 wonderful years. She was also the daughter of the late James J. and Mary (O’Brien) McKeown. She was a graduate of College Misericordia in 1946 with B.A. in French and a Minor in Mathematics and English.
Prior to her marriage, Marian was an acclaimed teacher of Mathematics, French and English in Montrose, Pa.
Marian is survived by three daughters, Ellen Flynn (Brian), Regina Rowe (Don) and Anne Roski. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Jessica, Sean, Christopher, Joseph, Shannon, Katharine, Matthew and Olivia and a brother Joseph Eugene McKeown. Marian was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Mary Susan Monkoski, two brothers, James and Robert and a sister Anne.
Relatives and friends are invited to Marian’s Funeral Mass, Friday, April 20, 2018 at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Rd, Jamison where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Wilkes Barre.
