James F. McInerny, a resident of Pipersville for the past 30 years, passed away surrounded by family and friends, on Friday, June 8, 2018 at his residence. He was 80.
James was the loving husband of Helen McInerny.
Born in Philadelphia, James was a son of the late George and Edna McInerny.
James was a proud veteran serving with the US Navy during the Korean War.
Retiring in 2002, James was a plant engineer with Superpac, Inc. of Southampton.
James was a master cabinet maker and also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, James is survived by 2 sons, Michael McInerny and Christopher Heffernan, a daughter Candice Stevason (Jason) and 5 grandchildren, Jesse, Paul, Neena, Amanda and Colleen. He is also survived by a sister Edna Becht and a nephew George McInerny, Jr. James was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Patricia Fisher and Katherine Duffy and his brother George McInerny.
James memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Shelly Funeral Home, Easton and Keller’s Church roads, Plumsteadville where the family will receive friends after 9:30 am until the time of service.
