Georgette Rossetti , 91, of Warrington went to be with our Lord and her beloved John on June 18th, 2018 after a short stay at Neshaminy Manor.
Georgette was born in Namur, Belgium to Fernand and Leonie Demptinne. It was there during World War II that she would meet and marry her true love, John, a member of the U.S. Army on June 30, 1945 and travel a long distance to the United States. She became a U.S. Citizen on December 12, 1950.
“Georgie” as she was known to her friends was an artist and loved to paint Lighthouses and Covered Bridges. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Center in Cape May Court House where she lived for several years. In her earlier years she was a member of the Warrington Township Fire Company’s Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her loving children, Vivian (Bell) and John Jr., three grandsons, Robert Bell Jr., Michael Bell (Catherine) and John Rossetti III. Her pride and joy were her four great grandchildren, Brendan , Allison, Pippa Leigh and Tallulah Grace Bell.
She is also survived by three sisters, Jeanne Debras and Odette Thome (in Belgium) and Monique VanHulst of Bedminster, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Avenue, Warrington. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of Mass.
Interment will be private.
