Condolence From: Susan Taft Brower
Condolence: Condolences to the Knappenberger family. I met preacher when taking my brother Frank Taft (aka Senator) to the ASA reunion in PA two days after 911. I treasure an article titled Freedom is Not Free featuring an interview with and photo of Preacher and my brother in the local newspaper during that reunion. I was moved recently to be at the Korean War Memorial in D.C. and seeing the words Freedom is Not Free on the day 50 fallen soldier remains arrived in Hawaii. I hope Preacher witnessed the event. He was an email friend over the years and always had the right words. May he rest is peace.
Susan

Condolence From: Bob & Nancy Rudolph
Condolence: Preacher and I travelled to Korea on the same troopship. Later we attended ASAKorea Reunions and served on the Board of Directors together for more than 20 years. Charles was a true buddy to all. Our sympathy and love goes our to Mary and the family.

We donated to Wounded Warriors through their website.
