Condolence: Brenda and family, I am so sorry for the loss of Rick. He was my supervisor at the Courier Post from the time he started there until I retired in 2005. As management, we didn’t always see eye to eye, but I always had great respect for him. The world has lost a “Good Guy”.
Condolence: To the Steinmetz family
My name is Rich Del Vecchio and I wanted to let you know that I had worked with Rick at the Courier Post for almost 17 years.
At this most difficult time I wanted to share my sincere condolences for your loss.
He was a great boss and even better person. Though there were times that we disagreed, I always respected him and his great work ethic.
Condolence: I'll miss Rick and his easy-going nature, his quickness with a laugh and his positive energy. My favorite memory is of Rick, Aunt Brenda, Grandmom and I taking a trip to Florida. Epcot was the destination. It poured all day, completely soaking us. But we did not leave. We bought bright yellow Mickey Mouse ponchos and stayed all day, all of us happy to be there enjoying our time with each other. The next night was even better -- a luau -- eating, laughing and tropical drinks. Maybe some Kahlua...
You could always see how much he loved and respected Brenda and how much she loved him back. They were fun to be around and I'll miss him. I expected to go on another trip like that and I'm saddened I won't. But I'll always have those memories.
Condolence: In life you travel in paths...during your travel you come across others who are traveling in the same path. Rick, my friend, I am honored to have met you, to have known you. I will always remember the good times together. God speed.
