Obituary for Joseph F. Pepkowski

Joseph F. Pepkowski
Joseph Pepkowski passed away at The Pine Run Community on April 21, 2018, on the 55th anniversary of his older brother John’s passing. He was 98.
Joseph was the husband of Mary (Vicky) (nee Rozborski) Pepkowski and the father of the late Christine Pepkowski .
Born on the family farm in Tinicum, Bucks County, he was the son of the late Kazimere and Tillie Pepkowski. Joe continued the farming operation until the late 1960’s.
In addition to farming, he held employment at various businesses, including the Dublin Hosiery Mill and later, retiring from the Palisades School District.
Joe was the brother of the late Anna, Mary, John, Catherine, Francis, Blanche, and Eleanor. His sister Helen survives him.
Joseph was an avid fisherman and hunter, given the name “Eagle Eye” for his keen marksmanship. While he rarely missed watching a Phillies Game, his entire family was his pride and joy, a feeling mutually shared by his many, many nieces and nephews.
Joe’s Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am, Monday, April 30, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Church, 4040 Durham Rd, Ottsville 18942. The family will receive friends 4-6:00 pm Sunday at the Shelly Funeral Home, 5880 Easton Rd, Pipersville and 10-11:00 am Monday at the church. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Church at the address above.
