Condolence: My deepest sympathy to you, Doug and Gil. Greta was a beautiful, sunny and generous person who brightened our world with her kindness, encouragement and gentle humor. How she loved her travels with you!
To me, she was the eye of the hurricane, that calm respite that lets you catch your breath in the midst of the swirling winds that were Pete. They both had a profound impact on my life. I will be forever grateful to them. I will miss them both.
Condolence: Mrs. Sardo was my First Grade Teacher at Thaddeus Stevens school. Her beautiful curly blonde hair and big blue eyes and welcome smile made going to school a pleasure. I will never forget her passion for reading which was contagious. She planted the seed in me that served me well through all my years of schooling to becoming a lawyer. Even though more than 50 years have passed, my gratitude for her remains. My deepest condolences to her family and all who loved her.
Condolence: What a beautiful woman. I remember going into my first grade room and seeing this smile..she loved her 1st grade students at Thaddeus Stevens School in Emmaus ...and her students loved her..many blessings.
Condolence: I taught at Vera Cruz Elem. School with Greta from 1972 until her retirement in 1984. Greta always impressed me with her professionalism, her true love of teaching and her pleasant demeanor. I don't think I ever witnessed her getting upset about anything. I served as Head Teacher and Greta was one of my most supportive allies in smoothly running the building. Please accept my deepest sympathy on her passing. She was truly a wonderful person.
