Condolence: Peggy, Ken, and Karen,
I was so very sorry to learn that Graham passed away. He was my very first real boss when I started at Merck back in 1985. He was a terrific scientist, a great mentor, and a dear friend with a great personality and a wonderful, quirky sense of humor. He left us too soon. But he certainly will not be soon forgotten!
Condolence: Dear Family of Graham Smith,
My deepest sympathies to all of you. I have known Graham since 1995 when I joined Merck. He was a mentor, and close friend for these many years. His love and passion for science and developing scientists are two of the many things I will remember. After he retired, I am glad he was part of the Monthly Men's Dinner with a few others and me. Always great to hear of his travels, and his new love for woodworking. His wood ornaments, I will greatly treasure.
Condolence: Dear Peggy, Ken and family. Kathy and I extend our deepest of sympathy just learning of Graham’s passing. Graham was a wonderful, caring and curious minded man with many talents and interests. May you have comfort and peace during this time of sorrow. Dave & Kathy Jones
Condolence: Dear Peggy, Ken, and Karen. I will miss Graham terribly. He was a man who did things, a man who built things, and he always figured out the best way to do it or build it. Whenever we were working on a project, there were always revisions, because Graham thought everything through, and if he came up with a better way, then we went in that direction. He loved a challenge, and was not afraid to try the impossible. I will miss him, but I will never forget him. - Rich Kranzel
Condolence: Dear Peggy and family... Wes and I send our deepest sympathies to all of you. Graham was a special man and a great inspiration to those who knew him. We will treasure our wooden ornaments he made for us and they will always have a special place on our tree.. Nancy and Wes Pericone
Condolence: Dear Peggy, Ken, Karen so sorry to hear of Graham’s passing he fought such a tough battle but lived large in the time he was given. He is now in peace and can know his loved ones are in good places in their lives.
God bless you all.
Condolence: My sincere sympathy to the family of Graham Monro Smith. May Jehovah God, who consoles the brokenhearted and comforts those who mourn, sustain you during this time of sorrow (Isaiah 61: 1,2). Jehovah God promises a resurrection, as noted at John 5:28. Also may you find comfort in the memories of your loved one.
