Condolence: The Shane family were near and dear to our family. I had the privilege to be school friends with Greg and the honor to also know his parents as good friends to my parents. Al was a wonderful man with a beautiful family. I am so sorry for your loss.. Many wonderful memories

Condolence From: Diane Odiorne-Luff
Condolence: "We are just making memories". That was the mantra of a group of friends that called themselves "The Trip To Nowhere Golfers" Shane's, Myskinski's, Sudol's, Jone's, Langan's Odiorne's and Daugherty's. Our three day tournaments were competitive? and intense?? We played for the honor of winning the ladies trophy( broken club in her hand) men's trophy( man breaking the golf club overr his knee) and hoped to be the recipent of the cherished painting entitled " Painting of a Tiger on Black Velvet in a plastic frame( net worth of the painting..... Priceless!!! Al and I were the fortunate winners of our beloved tournament in 1994 at Hersey Golf Resort. Presenting Al and I our trophies was Al's dear friend and forever golf buddy, Chuck Myslinski. Al,Al,Al was always my greeting to Al. Kathy and Al have been my very dear friends since the seventies! They have been there for me and my family through the good times and the difficult times. So our mantra of "just making memories" has come to pass. All of my memories of my friend Al Shane make me smile and give a chuckle. Peace my friend. Diane Odiorne-Luff
